About Digrid
Digrid is my attempt to bring Minecraft-like1 voxel-based gameplay to the web. Enjoy the voxel game experience without needing to create an account or download anything, and share worlds with friends simply by sending them the world URL.
How to Play
Use the WASD keys to move, space to jump, and the Mouse to rotate the camera. Press the left mouse button to destroy a block and the right mouse button to place a block.
Use the scroll wheel or number keys to select a block from the bottom bar. Press the "E" key to open the block menu.
Press Esc to release the mouse and pause the game. Pausing the game will also save the game. Do not close the tab until saving is complete, as doing so risks losing or corrupting saved data.
Half-tiles may be placed by selecting them in the block menu. While wielding a half-tile, breaking a block will only break half of it. This works even for blocks which are not half-tiles.
There is no end-goal at the moment. Build cool things and share them with friends!
Sharing Worlds
Each world has a unique URL that can be used to share it with others. Those who access the world via the url will not be able to edit world data unless they have the level's passcode. Save the level passcode somewhere to avoid losing access yourself when your browser cookies are cleared.
Large Worlds
By default all levels are limited in size to 256x256x256 meters, but you can convert to a "Large World" for a one-time fee. Additionally, Large Worlds support online multiplayer (experimentally).
